Will a humidifier prevent or clear condensation on double glazed windows . no c heating in house?

I assume your problem is that there is moisture between the two panes of glass? It is very difficult to get the moisture out so that there is no condensation. You may need to replace the window.

Will a humidifier prevent or clear condensation on double glazed windows . no c heating in house?
we had a dehumidifier at a house we lived in once with no central heating it was running all the time and couldn't cope with the damp/condensation best bet is to have htg installed it will be cheaper in the long term, the dehumidifiers cost too much to buy and run-a waste of time
Reply:no but a dehumidifier might.
Reply:I think its maybe a de-humidifier your after, you want to remove the condensation
Reply:High humidity is mainly caused by cooking, bathing, and leaving washing to dry indoors. When it hits a very cold surface, it condenses. Keeping the room warm helps to drive it out. A de-humidifier will reduce, but not prevent entirely, the amount of condensation produced.
Reply:Condensation is present due to the difference in temperature between the inside glass and the room (similar to windscreen of a car which can be quickly cleared with hot air from the blower)

A de - humidifier may clear some of the effect but not the cause, which is due to the house being under- heated.
