Reformatting my C drive?

I've added a second HD to my system, it was suppose to allow me to transfer everything from the original C drive to the new drive and then it was suppose to wipe the old C drive clean. But the software never cleared the old C drive. So now I have double everything.

How do I reformat my C drive with the original version of the operating system (Win2K) on it? It will not allow me to do this even as it's set to "slave".

Do I need to trick it by renaming the drive and then formatting it?

Reformatting my C drive?
use a startup disc and format your drive in DOS.
Reply:Disconnect the good drive to be sure it won't be affected by this program and run DBAN gust Google it and you will find the link. Deriks boot and nuke will completely wipe the drive of all its data and you will get a new hard drive.
Reply:Unplug your slave and boot your system with the W2k CD. When prompted DELETE the partition. It will prompt you to create a partition afterwards. Once you create the new partition W2k will ask you if you wish to install W2k. Then is will ask what kind of format you want. I would select NTFS over FAT32. The installation should continue from there.
Reply:Remove the the 2nd HD and reformat the 1st HD. Install windows. Install all drivers. Then introduce the 2nd HD. Plug and play should recognize the new HD. Just follow the what the wizard says do.
