I can't open drives C and D...?

my OS is XP home edition. double clicking drive C: or D:, it states Access denied. right clicking it has the same result.

everytime i turn on my computer, there is an error that states like this: C\:WINDOWS\services.exe'.Make sure you typed them correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then click Search.

i have scanned my computer using antivirus but nothing happened. i have also tried to do system restore but it was incomplete and cant be performed.

Reply:If the path is not including your system32 folder... it is probably a virus. check this out.

Reply:Sounds to me like your services.exe file is corrupt. If you cann't open either drive then the only thing i know of to do is reformat your computer so back up everything you need to onto a flash drive and do a clean install of your windows disk
Reply:maybe there is a virus in your drive c and d try install spybot software
Reply:Update the drivers and re plug them in
