How would you double a recipe for brownies?
12 Tablespoons Cocoa

1/2 Cup Butter

2 Cup Sugar

1 Teaspoon Vanilla

1/2 Teaspoon Salt

2/3 Cup Flour

4 Eggs

Use the same tempurature. You time will vary depending on the size of the sheet you are using. I would say get some toothpicks and at about 25 minutes check the brownies. If some brownie sticks to the toothpick it is not ready. Repeat the checking procedure periodicaly untill they are done and te toothpick is clean

PS use a differant toothpick each time you check
Reply:how big is the pan that recipie call for? If you are doubling the size of the pan, you want to double all of the ingredients, but you want to keep the same cooking time.

You should only increase the cooking time if the brownies will be thicker in the new pan that they would be in the original recipie.
Reply:I would say just multiply all the ingredient amounts by 2...and then bake until a toothpick into the center comes out clean.

I could very likely be wrong, however. I'm no cook.
Reply:just double all ingredients and i would cook it for about an hour.. but keep checking on it.
Reply:yes
