C,D,E Drive is not opening?

Dear Friends,


In my system There are 3 drives i.e C:, D: , E:.If I Double click to that drive, it gives message "Access Denied" .And If I Right click that drives and open ,then it is opening.


So is it problem related to Virus or System ?


Please give me a solution.

C,D,E Drive is not opening?
Yes its a result of a virus,


do this





go to folder options =%26gt; view =%26gt;





then tick off "hide protected operating system files"


you'll get a warning , click "YES"





Now open your drives (C,D,E...) you'll see an autorun file is there in each drive. delete the autorun files or open them %26amp; delete the contents in it.


then reboot %26amp; see, It wont solve your problem until You reboot. Now you can undo that change you made in folderoptions ( tick that option U ticked off previously )





p.s - if you can remove the contents of the autorun file then they are marked as "read only" you can try to remove the read only option in them or delete the autorun file.

Reply:sounds like password problems to me.when you right click it gives you permission to use them.if you are the adminastrator and the only one using the unit you can delete the sign in password.at users in the control panel.
Reply:Check what's the standard action on double clicking drives. Has to be the fat one.
