I am not able to open my C D and E drives by double clicking on them in My Computer?

When i do so, a 'Open With' dialogue box opens which asks me to choose the from a list of programs that i want to use to open the drive contents.


But i can access my drives via the drop down list and 'My Documents'.


This problem is strange. I am using Norton 2003 and AVG antispyware but they show no infection. Can anyone tell me why this happens. Whats the solution other than formatting?

check if have auto-run





if have





go to folder option





unmark hidden files


unmark recommended hidden files





and find autorun.inf





delet that file





and restart your computer

you antivirus only delete a virus on your hard disk





no other file related with a virus





other way you can use registry editor to find a virus





if u know virus name Report It
