one time i had to make a Word doc. and i had to click and resize an object. then i find it hard as it double cliks and opens a dialog box to edit contents in the object w/c is annoying as i dont want to open the dialog box. my life gets hard for a smple annoyance like this. sometimes a single 1 page doc full of pics takes me 1 hr. to make w/c is different from the usual 10 minute editing. elpppp!!!!
My mouse keeps on double cliking even w/ a single clik !?
Check your mouse settings. In the lower right hand corner on your desktop you might see a mouse icon. If you do, double click on it and it will open a mouse control box.
If you don't see a mouse icon, go into the Control Panel and click on the mouse icon in the panel and it will open the control box.
Check the double-click speed of your mouse, and slow it down, as it could be that your double-click speed setting is so fast that a single click is seen as a double-click.
If that doesn't do it, you may need a new mouse.
