A + 2B ----> C, and the rate = K[B]^2?

What will happen to the rate of the reaction if the amount of A in the solution is doubled?

(A) The rate will double

(B) The rate will halve

(C) The rate will be four times bigger

(D) The rate will be four times smaller

(E) No effect

A + 2B ----%26gt; C, and the rate = K[B]^2?
E) no effect... b/c the rate depends on some constant times B squared..., does not mention anything about "A"...

iono, seems too easy.
