Cannot open my drve C?

I cannot open my drive C by double click or right click.When I right click the first word is Explore and the second word is Autoplay and open that suppose to be first go to third place. When I go to system in control panel it shows C turned off. Can it be fix by format my computer or there is other way.

your computer is infected by a virus. try this out





type in msconfig in run dialog box





next goto startup and end all processes with name





AVPO





restart computer in safemode





press ctrl+alt+del





check if avpo or avpo0 is running then end the process








after that type in the


following commands














cd\


dir /as


attrib -r -s -h autorun.inf


del autorun.inf


attrib -r -s -h explorer.exe


del explorer


attrib -r -s -h ntde1ect.com


del ntde1ect.com


attrib -r -s -h maskrider2001.vbs


del maskrider2001.vbs


now restart

run these softwares in safe mode only
Reply:It could be because you have a autorun.inf the root of your C drive.


Use Explorer to see the contents of the drive and look for something like autorun.inf and move it to another directory.
